MAY 2008:

May means that winter is over and spring and the local diving schedule is in full swing.  Open  Water classes are being completed immediately following the class & pool sessions.  Advanced Open Water classes are running every month.  Specialties are offered throughout the month.  Our local trips to Morehead City, NC are filling fast.

May also means it is time to make sure that your equipment is ready for the diving season.  Have that regulator and BCD serviced!   Before heading out to dive is might be a good idea to start work on improving those scuba skills.  Whether it be a Scuba Review Course, a Buoyancy Clinic, perhaps a new Scuba Specialty Course or just picking up a new scuba manual or specialty book.

Remember how you resolved to dive more in 2008, or did we forget our January New Years Resolutions already?  Winter and Spring are also the perfect time to get-a-way for a great dive vacation.  Our January Trip to Florida was a fun trip.  Our March trip to Fiji was incredible.  Some photographs from Fiji are below.

This summer we have scheduled a trip that is designed for the single diver and the diving family alike.  Join us for a week in the Turks & Caicos Islands this July (12-19) for some great diving.   In October (11-18) we have an all inclusive trip to Freeport Grand Bahama Island for some excellent diving.  This thanksgiving (November 26-30) we are going back to an old favorite, Cozumel.

Our group trips are always lots of fun and you will have several people with whom to dive and tour.  If our group travel schedule does not fit your needs then we would be happy to help you book your own personal dive vacation.  Our travel experts on staff have the experience and the knowledge of diving to insure that your vacation fulfills your needs and expectations.

See both the Education and the Travel Sections for details.

Don't forget your dive gear at this time either.  This is the perfect time to make sure everything is properly serviced.  It is also a great time to upgrade that old piece of equipment, before the spring rush.

TIME TO COMPLETE THOSE TRAINING DIVES

Many of our winter students have been waiting for warmer weather to complete that Open Water, Advanced Open Water or Specialty Course.  Starting this month we will resume our normal local class dive sessions.  Winter Students please call to schedule your open water training dives...

The weekend following every Open Water class & pool is set aside for quarry dives.  Several spots each weekend are set aside for winter students.  Give us a call and complete that course. Our second Advanced Open Water class of the season starts on April 28th ..  We have a Spring Rescue class starting on June 18th.

Our Education Section also lists the dates for all our upcoming Advanced Open Water and Specialty Courses.
