Scuba Dive Vacations in the Bahamas

The Perfect Fall Get-A-Way:

Grand Bahama Island's reputation as a diver's paradise has been growing ever since the earliest episodes of "Sea Hunt" were filmed there.

Elaborate coral gardens, playful dolphins, and beckoning blue holes-these are images of the "other" Grand Bahama Island, ones that live beneath a shimmering blue surface that sprawls outwards from the beaches.

This is an excellent vacation place with lots to do for both the diver and the non-diver alike.

Abundant Sealife

See the beautiful Bahamas from underwater

Grand Bahama offers Caribbean temperatures and conditions at an easily accessible location.  Warm water, clear visibility and an assortment of marine animals ranging from dolphins and sharks to the smallest arrow crabs and blennies make this a most enjoyable dive destination.  The types of dives range from reefs to wrecks, which should satisfy everyone's dive desires.

A certified PADI Instructor or Divemaster is underwater with the divers.

Boat rides are of 35 minutes maximum in a Catamaran of 10 pax (26" by 10"), safety features such as Oxygen and VHF available on the boat.

All the dive sites (from 20 to 100 feet deep) along the coast of Port Lucaya are populated with sea turtles, horse eye jacks, tarpons, green morays, spotted eagle rays. Manta ray, nurse sharks, bull shark and whale sharks can also be found,
